This is the homepage for our Local Action website which covers Greater Dartmoor Local Enterprise Action Fund, South Devon Coastal Local Action Group and the Isles of Scilly Local Action Group.

We are hoping that local groups and businesses will come forward with exciting ideas to help improve life in these areas economically, socially and environmentally. We have funding for selected projects that deliver our aims and objectives and this website is the main portal where you can find out more about what the groups are set up to do, and how you can apply for funding.

This funding comes from Europe and from Defra, under the Rural Development Programme for England, which aims to safeguard and enhance the rural environment, improve the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and foster competitive and sustainable rural businesses and thriving rural communities.

At local level, Devon Renaissance is delivering the two programmes in Devon with support from South Hams District Council, and the Isles of Scilly Local Action Group is being delivered by the Council of the Isles of Scilly.

The projects are being delivered through the South West of England Regional Development Agency, with Defra as the Managing Authority regionally.
